Zedu Weekly Wrap – 1 March 2024

Kids woke us up this morning…

with a pinch and a punch for the first day of March. Which means we’re quickly heading to the autumn equinox with cooler days and longer nights. Everyone here loves summer and the long daylight hours given we operate in the underlit world of ultrasound – time to dust off and roll out the light therapy lamps 🙂

A plethora of resources this week in the #FOAMed ultrasound world – highlights to look at:

  • an article from The POCUS Journal (@POCUSJournal) on ONSD as an indirect predictor of intracerebral hemorrhage volume (1 March)
  • Michael Prats (@PratsEM) with the latest US GEL Podcast on pediatric distal forearm fractures (26 February), and
  • Ross Prager (@ross_prager) with the latest research into the medico-legal risks of #pocus – well worth a read (24 February).

Plus take tune in to the always entertaining and educational ‘Block it like it’s hot podcast’ – Amit and Jeff in fine form.

That’s it for Friday…catch ya next week
